We had a rainy kayaking day on August 24, 2022. But we got to see Bald Eagles, Sitka Black Tail Deer, and seals. There were 3 in my group, 2 more cruise ship passengers. Because of our odd number my son ended up going with Captain Kevin. The water was rough but nothing they could do. We still had a great time. Will go again the next we are up in Ketchikan.

I just had to send a message saying how great our Kayak trip was on 8/24. The tour guides were awesome. They made sure we understood how to kayak, as most had never done this. There were 6 in our group doing this tour. I would highly recommend this and we are all so glad we did this. Thanks for a great time!

I really wanted to love this tour. It sounded goo on paper...but it just wasn't worth the cost. The folks running the tour were really nice...good instruction...all of that was fine. However, once we were on kayaks...we barely went anywhere or saw anything. We stayed in a small cove....just not much kayaking! I just did another trip in Sitka and we kayaked over 6 miles around islands....just much more worth the price of admission. I guess if you aren't a regular kayaker, like we are, it's a thrill. Folks were great! :-)
