We stayed on Orcas Island for a couple nights just so we could go on the whale watching tour. We chose Orcas Island Whale Watching and are so glad we did. We decided to go on a later afternoon tour as they said we would be more apt to see the whales as they would have spotted them earlier in the day. We ended up seeing a pod of five whales, a mom and four youth of different ages, and followed them around for two hours. We were able to capture some amazing photos...even one with a whale breaching the surface. We couldn't get over how large these animals are in person. The guides were wonderful and answered all our questions and the captain of the boat did a fantastic job of spotting and following the whales. People were able to be outside or warmly tucked away inside and they supplied snacks and drinks for everyone. This was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation to the northwest. Our family would definitely recommend this company if you are considering a whale watching tour.

We didn't find many whales in our original location and the crew did all in their power to help us find whales. Towards the times when we were slated to go back they heard the there was a pod a distance away. It meant that they would put in extra time and that our tour would be stretched out another 45+ minutes. We are so glad they did. It was amazing and we felt they absolutely delivered to what we were hoping for.
