Boulder Tour Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these minimum requirements. Furthermore, Boulder Tour Company reserves the right, at their discretion, to ask customers to step on a scale to confirm their weight before allowing them the use of a Boulder Tour Company ebike. A ride evaluation with each rider will be performed by the tour guide prior to the start of the tour to determine each rider's participation eligibility.
Riders cannot exceed 265 pounds and must be at least 5'2" tall in order to sit safely on the bike's saddle and touch the ground with their feet

I have lived in Boulder for over 15 Years and I signed up for the tour after seeing several groups on the blue bikes cruise down Pearl St. with smiles on their faces. The tour was AMAZING! Russ took us places I never knew existed. The bikes were so easy to ride with the help of the electric motor and the ride with the fat tires was super comfortable. Russ shared a lot of interesting information as we zipped are way around town. Our group had such an incredible time. I would highly recommend this tour to both locals and visitors a like.

My husband and I were vacation in Colorado. Neither one of us are usually proactive in planning creative things to do so we committed to doing differently this time. We heard that Boulder was a cool town so we were trying to find the best way to check it out. We knew that simply walking around town wouldn't allow us to cover the amount of ground we wanted to cover... and plus that wouldn't really allow us to be educated on "all things" Boulder. We were also worried about renting regular bikes to ride around town with because neither one of us were certain how the altitude would affect us (we live in Florida) and we were afraid of passing out due to exhaustion from a 2 1/2 hour bike ride with all the elevation changes. OK we'll maybe I was the only one afraid of that :-) When I saw the electric assist bike cruiser tour option I didn't even hesitate booking it. It seemed to check all the boxes… we could cover a ton of ground without overly exerting ourselves and we would have a guide to educate us on Boulder. Russ did not disappoint. He gave us a little taste of everything... we cruised through downtown, interesting residential areas, parks, the University, and then up the mountain for some amazing views. We felt like we got the perfect snapshot of Boulder and the electric bikes made it easy. The bikes will allow just about any fitness level to join in on the fun. Those seeking a workout can use as much exertion as they would like, and those seeking a lesser heart pumping experience can literally let the bike do all the hard work. Thanks Russ! Our family participated in the Electric Cruiser Bike Tour. We all agreed we had more fun and enjoyed this tour more than anything we have done in a very long time. The Electric Bike allowed you to make it as hard (exercise) or easy as you wished. We saw parts of Boulder and the surrounding area we had never seen before. Russ provided interesting commentary along our route so we learned some new things. It was great. Sign up, take the tour, your will not regret it.
