The Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour (90 Minutes in Length) offers unforgettable guided tours through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. Each tour is lead by experienced guide(s) who ensure participants safely navigate through the unique ecological habitats while seeing different types of marine life.

This highly-protected and unique area boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in the West Coast. Guests commonly encounter seals, sea lions, and a multitude of birds and fish, and lucky guests might even see dolphins or whales!

Towards the southern end of the Ecological Reserve, La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves patiently await, allowing participants to witness their beauty. Weather permitting, participants can kayak through the large sea cave that goes from the ocean into the Emerald Cove.
Entry into the Emerald Cave depends on the safety, and is not guaranteed. Participants must be five years or older to participate in the tour.

Valid for up to two people to ride in a double kayak.

this was our second time to do the kayak tour. the guides are always so much fun and full of knowledge about La Jolla and its unique ecosystem. I would highly recommend Everyday California for any of your adventure or rental needs while in La Jolla

It is just passing through some hole in between the stones. And if is stormy or strong wave, you are not allow to go through either as your Kayak might crash into the stones! So you are just paying for the Kayak in the sea experience with a lot of people plus the guide explaining and keep you entertained.

We went on a kayaking tour with Danielle and we had a fun time. My wife and I had never kayak on the ocean before and it was a blast.. EC is a well run outfit. Check in was very efficient, as we were able to do a lot of the paper work on line. Everybody at the store was very friendly and helpful in setting us up with our gears. Danielle was a great guide on the water and told us a good amount of trivia about the area, and the caves. The kayaking itself required some strength in the beginning of the tour as we were going against the current...it was great on the way back!! Danielle took us inside one of the cave in which we saw seals and sea lions resting. It was a great sight. I only wished we could have gone inside one or two more caves. Overall, this was a great experience. I would recommend Everyday California and Danielle anytime.
