Overview

The Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour (90 Minutes in Length) offers unforgettable guided tours through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. Each tour is lead by experienced guide(s) who ensure participants safely navigate through the unique ecological habitats while seeing different types of marine life.

This highly-protected and unique area boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in the West Coast. Guests commonly encounter seals, sea lions, and a multitude of birds and fish, and lucky guests might even see dolphins or whales!

Towards the southern end of the Ecological Reserve, La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves patiently await, allowing participants to witness their beauty. Weather permitting, participants can kayak through the large sea cave that goes from the ocean into the Emerald Cove.
Entry into the Emerald Cave depends on the safety, and is not guaranteed. Participants must be five years or older to participate in the tour.

Valid for up to two people to ride in a double kayak.

Me and my sister did the kayak tour and it was as good of an experience as I could imagine. Our guides Al and Jacob deserve even more than 5 stars if that was possible. It was a bit chilly but we rented wet suits which was definitely the way to go. Jacob and Al we’re both very friendly and knowledgeable on the areas we visited, and did a great job taking us into the cave. We were able to see two seals cuddling as well as a very cute baby seal. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this tour/company to anyone interested!

We went out on the sea cave kayak tour. It was a bit of a rough day so we couldn't get too close, but Kama and Savanah made the day awesome nonetheless. The dolphins swimming past 3 feet away helped!!!
