Original La Jolla Sea Cave Kayak Tour for Two

Overview
The Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour (90 Minutes in Length) offers unforgettable guided tours through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. Each tour is lead by experienced guide(s) who ensure participants safely navigate through the unique ecological habitats while seeing different types of marine life.

This highly-protected and unique area boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in the West Coast. Guests commonly encounter seals, sea lions, and a multitude of birds and fish, and lucky guests might even see dolphins or whales!

Towards the southern end of the Ecological Reserve, La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves patiently await, allowing participants to witness their beauty. Weather permitting, participants can kayak through the large sea cave that goes from the ocean into the Emerald Cove.
Entry into the Emerald Cave depends on the safety, and is not guaranteed. Participants must be five years or older to participate in the tour.

Valid for up to two people to ride in a double kayak.

I have been to San Diego several times and always wanted to do the kayak tour. Me and my teenage son did it today and it was a highlight of our trip. We loved it! So much fun and it was wonderful learning about the incredible ecosystems in the area. Our guides Hans and Matt were fabulous. A must - do experience for anyone visiting San Diego and craving some adventure and fun. Fantastic!

Josh (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable and overall a lot of fun. The kayak portion to/from the beach was okay, but the real fun was our brief few minutes inside one of the caves as well as hanging out near quite a few sea lions near the caves.

First there were way too many kayaks out in the cave area (so many tour companies in the area and they all have about 15 kayaks out there at once). There was a lot of time spent sitting waiting for others to catch up. Meanwhile the guides tell lots of stories about the mayor, sandstone, etc and you are drifting into areas where you arenā€™t supposed to be. They keep telling you where to go but then you get there and drift again while waiting 10 minutes for others in your group. We only went in one cave and we were in it for literally 1 minute.
