Overview

Set off on a musical journey through time as you tap your feet to the tunes that moved the nation in the 1960s and ’70s. Motor City Musical brings Motown hits from musicians like Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and the Jackson 5 to the stage, celebrating the history of a genre that brought new life and rhythm to the American music scene.

Head to the GTS Theatre and settle into your seat as the curtain comes up on the cast of the Original Motown Tribute Show in Myrtle Beach – Motor City Musical. Travel back to the swinging ’60s, a time when music broke down social barriers, changed lives, and brought Americans together over a shared love of soulful songs. Learn the story of Berry Gordy, whose Detroit recording studio put some of the last century’s biggest musical names on the global radar. NOTE: Trip Advisor Seats are in the BACK of the theatre and not able to be upgraded. For better seating order directly through the theatre.

The theater is small, but is enriched with great performers! My husband and I attended the show during our “Anniversary Weekend”. We thoroughly enjoyed each and every song as the singers ventured through the history of Motown.

The Motor City Motown Review was absolutely wonderful! All the voices were amazing and they were all very entertaining. Good job! Can't wait to return to Myrtle Beach to see it again.

We went to this show. This is a small Cabernet type theater. The entertainers are wonderfully talented performers. Crowd interaction was so much fun.
