Sure you could just watch from the beach or your hotel lanai, but a front row seat out on the water, sipping some cocktails, enjoying some awesome pupus (appetizers) and hanging with fun people sounds more appealing. GO!! you won’t be disappointed. Unless you hate great drinks and Pupus, a view, and fun people. We went July 12th, checked in at 5, started instructions and boarding 515 and took off at 530. Did not see any ocean life but the weather was beautiful. Nice breeze too. Open bar but not over served. The crew was so nice!!! I wish I remembered their names. Just remember the guy with the long blonde hair and the guy from Spain. We did the Cocktail Sunset cruise and Joey’s kitchen had apps. My husband even had was able to snag seconds. They had sliders, garlic chicken, roasted Brussel sprouts and veggies - we were stuffed. Drinks- a few beer types, white wine, champagne, and a few mixed drinks (I think vodka and Mai Tais.) absolutely would do again.

This was a great night in Maui. We did have great weather and the sky was beautiful at sunset. But obviously this company cannot control that. So my review will be more about the service provided. After check in, we all met at the beach and were greeted by one of the owners. No shoes on the boat. So we all loaded our shoes into baskets. You may get a little wet entering the boat as they bring the boat up to the beach. But it looks to be that way for all cruises from Whalers Village. Open bar started about 10 minutes after departure. Good selection of mixed drinks, beer, champagne and soft drinks. Food was delicious. BBQ siders, boneless marinated chicken and grilled and seasoned brussel sprouts. Delicious!!!! And plenty of it. Cruised around with the sails up. All of the employees were very friendly and we had nice conversations with them. I do not know about any of the other sailing companies out of Whalers Village. But I would highly recommend this one.

Crew was fantastic, boat wasn’t crowded and food & drink was plentiful. Nice to be able to board on the beach and not travel to any of the harbors. Awesome sunset too!
