If you want to get up close and personal with these wonderful, gentle and charming animals, this tour is for you! You can reach down and touch them on the nose! That's not permitted, but there close enough to do it! Plus the Spring itself is wonderful, and after touring the spring the trip on up the river and into a side creek is very interesting and enjoyable. Saw wild turkeys up close, lots of small gators, lots of birds in a very swampy jungly setting. And December is a perfect time to go to see the Manatees and kayak around in comfort.

We saw wild bald eagles and crocodiles as well as manatees. It was my best experience in Florida! We took an Uber to the meeting point. I was late at the wrong meeting point, but they were waiting for me. Thank you very much! The meeting point is not in the national park or at the entrance, but at the end of the street where the entrance is located (i.e., make sure you get past the entrance to the park to the end of the street)!

Start rather cool and almost in the rain but the sun ended up coming out and my animals with: herons in shambles, turtles, crocodiles and manatees, in particular one which was eating quietly so that we could take photos of it
