It was my 66 years old mom first time kayaking, she loved it! Our guide made the difference. It was a fabulous experience eventhogh we only got to see one manatee.

Jimmy, our tour guide, was full of information. Any bird, fish, or other creature that came into view, Jimmy knew the name and their habits. We got to see alligators crossing the river and sitting at the banks watching us. Some made noises like bullfrogs as we passed. We went to a Clearwater stream where we saw lots of fish and a couple manatees and could jump out of the boats and swim. In the darker waters, we had close encounters with manatees, watching them eat, swim under our boats, and stick their snouts out to sniff us. As a bonus, we saw an Osprey dive into the water and catch a fish. I don't know how typical all of that is but we had an awesome time.

Loved this trip! Took two fifteen year old boys and they loved it too. Saw lots of wildlife and got to swim in crystal clear spring water with two manatees! They swam within 2 feet of us. The tour guide Bill was knowledgeable and really seemed to enjoy doing his job! Great morning.
