Overview

Journey to Blue Spring State Park, winter home to one of Florida’s largest populations of Manatee. Witness hundreds of these "sea cows" relaxing in the spring alone. Observe these creatures from a safe distance in your kayak as your Florida Master Naturalist introduces you to the flora and fauna that make up this wild area. There is no minimum age however all participants must know how to swim
It is recommended that you bring a swimsuit, towel, waterproof camera and wear clothes that can get wet and possibly dirty
To ensure a proper size kayak is available, please provide your individual heights and weights at the time of booking
There is no restroom at the meeting location. There is a public restroom at Valentine Park (1511 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763) about a mile before you arrive the meeting location that we recommend you use before your tour.

TRUST ME!” – if you are down in the Orlando area, take a break from the Disney Mouse and Universal Studios Marvel Super Heroes…and go TREAT yourself to the 3-hour Kayaking with the Manatee excursion with/through Adventures in Florida!! What an Incredible get-a-way from it all of the touristy attractions and crowds to see and first-hand experience Floridian nature this up close and personal. The manatees are such friendly and gentle giants; they literally came right up right beside and under our kayaks; we also saw a few gators as well…. Simply AMAZING!! Our tour guides for the day…Bill & Gina REALLY made this experience one for the memory books; especially with our group’s first-time kayaker who really enjoyed it (as did the rest of the group)! Bill’s keen knowledge and awareness of things in nature during our adventure was completely Spot-On! Gina was so Kind in ensuring that all the group stayed together and involved for the 3- hour trip. She also managed to take the time to get some GREAT pics of us and of the animals & nature that we saw during the day. I started this review off by saying “TRUST ME!” – the Adventures in Florida’s Kayaking with the Manatees is a SURE MUST either for the Orlando out of state vacationer or Florida resident. This 3- hour trip is Completely Priceless!! Also…it was EXTREMELY reasonable in cost. We are already looking forward to round #2 with Bill & Gina in October 2021!! It was a great experience for my family. We saw manatees, birds, fish and more. Easy paddling for us non kayakers! Jimmy was an excellent guide and a pleasure to be with.

It was a very chill and relaxed kayak experience. The tour guides were so awesome. They even sent us pictures after the tour. We saw alligators, 1 manatee, and a lot of birds. Would recommend to anyone. It was worth the money.
