I went with my son to celebrate a special occasion in a different way. We LOVED it! Astrid, our guide, was very easy to learn from and knowledgeable, peaceful and such an interesting person! Our tour group included 3 children who seemed to love it., as well. The St Johns River is vast, with amazing nature all around - trees, plants, animals, and the water! Like glass... We had a show - saw alligators, turtles, all kinds of fish & birds, and 2 manatees, even at this time of year which is not a common occurrence. I definitely recommend this adventure for anyone.

All I can say is WOW!! If you’re considering doing this, let me tell you - you’re missing out if you don’t. Blue Springs was closed the day we went for tree removal and it still was the most memorable part of our trip. Our guide, Greg, was very patient and offered paddling instruction for all. My youngest is 11, and struggled for awhile, but got the hang of it and enjoyed it. The area is gorgeous!! So many alligators, turtles, aquatic birds, and at the very end we saw 2 manatees dipping back under the water. We appreciated the vast knowledge of local flora and fauna. We loved it and will definitely plan to come back in the winter time for more manatees!! Thank you for a great experience.
