Want to take your kids fishing, but don’t know where to start? New to the Washington, DC area and want to see what fishing we have to offer? In town for a work trip and you’ve got a free day to wet a line? Want a stress-free day on the water away from the daily grind?

I’m Captain Rich, and I want to take you fishing. My goal is to provide an affordable fishing excursion that helps both new and experienced anglers discover the joy of fishing in the local area. Fishing is an opportunity for you to bond with your family–when you take your son or daughter fishing you are away from the distractions of life. Fishing with your kids is a great opportunity to connect with them and really spend quality time. If you don’t know how to fish, but want to learn how so you can start building that quality time with your kids, I want to help you. On our trips, I want you to learn something new, catch some fish, and walk away with a great experience that you can share with your family.

Really a perfect day on the river with Captain Rich. We reeled in 7 blue catfish within the first few hours. He really knows where the spots are! Rich is a skilled boat operator, and I felt very safe. I’d highly recommend booking a fishing trip with Rich.

I used to fish often when I was younger (20 plus years ago) since I had easy access to the lakes in upstate NY. After I entered the adulthood, life became busy with responsibilities and job obligation. I took a long break from fishing but always wanted to get back in to it. I met captain Rich and we went out to Lake Occoquan on several occasions. We fished for different species every time(large bass, cat fish and shad), just based on the condition for the day. Captain Rich had all the items that we needed for the day. I just showed up, hopped in the boat and we went. No hassle, no stress, and good time. Capt Rich was very professional and courteous. He is very passionate about fishing and knowledgeable around the local waters. I can't speak for someone is an experienced or expert fisherman. If you are somewhat like myself, an average guy who enjoys fishing....highly recommended

I have had the privilege of fishing with Captain Rich more than three times now, all of which were unforgettable experiences! He is very knowledgeable having fished all around the world, with focus on NoVA. The charter is very well organized, and he comes well prepared with all the gear, and teaches you how to use it! Would definitely recommend!
