Our tours are great for everyone and any age. Riders will experience a one of a kind Ebike tour throughout the historical part of Mount Pleasant. Riders will see more on the ebike than you would in a weekend on foot. It is a fun way to see all popular film sites from popular Netflix series Outer Banks all while riding an e-Bike. Guides will make sure to take pictures and videos of your group and make sure you are comfortable riding around on our e-Bike. We take routes where riders will see street lined Spanish Moss trees, dolphin sitings, shrimp boats, potential filming, gorgeous water front homes and many more! Do not miss out on this hidden gem of a tour! Tours can be merged in groups or private.

What To Expect

Rebellion Roads E-Bike Rentals & Tours

Once riders check into our shop, we will start to set up each rider with helmets, bikes, locks, and chargers. A tour guide will explain the eBike before riders start their tour. Once everyone is settled and feels comfortable, tour guides will get the group together and depart from location. Riders will ride by different filming locations from Netflix show Outer Banks as well as some scenes from The Notebook. This tour is perfect for any visitor looking to see the local side of Charleston life with a dash of Hollywood. The tour guide will take complimentary photos and videos of the group having a blast. All ages and experience are welcome.

Pitt Street Bridge

Filming site for Outer Banks

Mount Pleasant

From Pitt Street, riders will head to Alhambra hall which is another film site on Outer Banks and home to a special cast member on the show

South Carolina

Next riders will head to Old Village Business district which is a filming site for both The Notebook and Outer Banks. It is also the Sheriffs office.

Shem Creek

Riders will ride down the board walk running beside the water of Shem Creek. A popular film site of Outer Banks At this point there will be a opportunity for restroom break.

Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park

From Shem Creek riders will come to the Waterfront Park

Patriots Point Links on Charleston Harbor

Riders will head to USS Yorktown and Patriots Point by way of a waterfront trail

Charleston Harbor Marina Store

Riders will get up close to USSA Claymore Submarine and USS Yorktown. Riders will then ride the docks of the Charleston Marina where dolphin sitings happens frequently. From here riders will head to Geechie Seafood which is called The Wreck and was popular film spot for Outer Banks

The Outer Banks ebike tour was fantastic. Thomas Jones our guide knew exactly where to go and had not only outer banks information, but also shared island history. We were able to see many characters and see some filming as well. Highly recommend!!

Beyond our expectations! My 15-year-old daughter and I came to SC specifically to see Netflix’s Outer Banks show filming locations, and our tour guide Thomas more than delivered. If you are fortunate to have him, you will learn so much about this beautiful area, where he grew up. Luck was on our side as we passed by the home shown in the first scene of the first episode, where John B is standing on the roof of a house under construction. Thomas said hi to the owner, whom he knew, as he was outside. The owner then insisted we come into his home to see where they filmed (disclaimer: obviously this is NOT usually part of the tour!). We saw so many other sites from the show while enjoying the beauty of this town, learning some history AND getting some exercise that was more fun than work. For a little while at least, my teenager fully appreciates her mom. :)
