Paddleboard Yoga Class in Honolulu

Overview
Experience yoga while floating on the crystal clear waters of Honolulu, Hawaii. Standup paddleboard yoga is a unique adventure that combines the physical challenges of practicing yoga on a paddleboard with the majestic beauty of Hawaii’s oceans and shorelines. Classes available for all levels. Small group sizes ensure personalized attention from our highly qualified instructors, allowing each student to work at their own ability level. The SUP yoga classes include many familiar yoga poses adapted to the water. Most of the poses are done seated, kneeling, or lying down, with a few standing poses as well to work on balance and core stability. Free time is incorporated into each class, giving students a chance to try any poses they would like to work on. Classes end with traditional savasana, a meditation experienced lying on the board with the soft rocking of the oceans waves, fingers and toes trailing into the water, and the mind free to relax and let go.

Not much that can be improved. Good experience overall with good instructors. Would have been nice to have paper waivers, though, instead of having to scan their QR code. Makes the trip feel like we’re on the phone all the time. Good experience, but probably would not do again. I’d suggest maybe moving to a location with less distractions/background noise.

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, the QR code is to help with Covid so we aren't all touching the same pen. But then we leave our phones on land so we can enjoy being disconnected while on the water! And yes, I agree, the beach can be a busy place, depending on the day and time. It's just part of the deal when we share the ocean with other beachgoers! Mornings are usually nice and quiet classes :)

So glad I found this website when searching for a good yoga class for my trip to Oahu. As someone who’s never paddle boarded before, I was a bit nervous I would immediately fall in the water, but balancing on the board wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, once you get the hang of it! And you really can’t beat the a,biance. The class is taught at a slow pace and you’re able to truly relax and disconnect under the stars. I recommended booking a class ahead of time, prior to arriving on the island, as classes fill up quickly.

This was the most wonderful experience. It is a combination of yoga and paddleboard and the best part is we did it in the beautiful water off the park at night with the beautiful Honolulu sky line and stars as the back drop. My daughters and I did this and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The yoga can be modified to all skill levels and you are in shallow water the whole time within walking distance of the shore. It was a very beautiful, serene, and memorable experience. Highly recommend it!
