What makes our company unique is we have the vision of “ where vintage meets modern” we have USB ports in our bus, we have our buses fully restored and updated with modern amenities - and we are small buses so we can go to places that bigger buses are not allowed to: Twin peaks, Lombard Street, the Painted Ladies and the Full House, mural alleys in the Mission etc. We also offer complimentary light snacks and water in the morning, and complimentary local crafts beer and California wine on our afternoon tours and Private tours. Guests can also BYOB.

We will gladly pick you up from your hotel, or in the Fisherman's Wharf and Union Square areas. We were recommended to take this tour from friends who said the tour was amazing. Sadly I think this largely depends on the guide you get. Although our guide was a nice person who knew his way around San Francisco, we weren’t entirely convinced that he had an tour guide knowledge of the area. The tour was largely based on us asking questions as opposed to him pointing anything out, he didn’t include any interesting stories of the places he showed us and when he did the conservations were largely filled with “errrr” and “yeahh.” I pointed out Coit Tower and asked what this was, his reply “it’s a water tower from the fire department and stuff.” Not quite worth the price of this tour as I had to then google it for the full history, as I did with many of the sights we drove past. I found the tour long and dragged out as he clearly had no presentation skills needed to be a tour guide. It was very annoying considering we could of chosen the bigger bus tours and gained a lot more knowledge of the city. The only plus was that the small tour mean we did get to drive around Pacific heights etc, however given the expensive price of this tour it was not worth it! I have been tempted to ask for my money back as I felt so disappointed by it; the rest of my party and I honestly felt as though this guy was covering for someone on the sick!! Would not recommend.

Hi Penelope175, Thank you for choosing the time to writing a review. Even though it hurts us to receive a negative review, we take it to heart and see what we can do to improve. We are so so sorry about your experience with Ross. He was our newer tour guide in training and simply put, he just was not ready to be out on his own. In the mean time, he no longer works for us. Being a VW bus tour guide in the hilly San Francisco neighborhoods is not an easy thing to do as you can imagine. some learn the skills and the history right a way and others take a bit longer. However, We take 100% responsibility for the tour not meeting up to your expectations and we would like to make it up to you. We are a small mom and pop business and we like to take great care about our customers!!!

We had a private tour in pearl. It was a great way to see the city. It was fun and also good to see a few of the suburbs and everyday life. Our guide was excellent and was happy to stop where ever we wanted Highly recommended
