Overview

This tour is really unique that you get to hear some of the amazing, historical and groovy stories about San Francisco before spending your day tasting some delicious wines as we make our way through the beautiful Sonoma Valley in one of our Vintage VW buses! We will visit 3 award winning wineries. Each winery has been carefully selected for its unique character, knowledgeable and friendly staff, lovely ambiance and off course their delicious wines.You will also have the unique experience of touring a wine cave at one of the most scenic wineries in all of Sonoma/Napa. We will then make a stop at an Italian winery to enjoy lunch and have our second wine tasting. You will have the chance to taste artisan cheeses, Salami, fresh deli and green salads, pizza, including vegetarian and gluten free options, as well as wine by the glass! We will top it of with a nice little surprise:-)) Our final winery, you get to explore the vineyards for some lovely pictures and good vibes!

If you prefer to eat lunch at the Sonoma Plaza- please let us know. We might be able to make that happen. Depending on the group consensus.
Note that each vehicle seats up to 7 people total. We can still accommodate larger groups seated in separate vehicles.
Everyone in your group needs to complete our digital waiver.
COVID-19: A plexiglass partition has been installed between the driver and passengers. The touch points on our buses will be fully disinfected between and during tours.
Anyone showing symptoms of COVID 19, including fever, cough or shortness of breath won’t be able to participate.

I booked this solo, so was a little nervous about the experience, but chose this for its unique cave tour, cool car, and stop at the Golden Gate. From pickup, the driver, Dave was so kind and called me for pickup. He was such a good driver, and had awesome music going along with his humor. He was fantastic all around. The wineries were a good mix of vibes, but overall quiet, so the focus was on our group. We tasted so many wines that were all included in the tour price. I wasn't a fan of the last winery, but apparently they go to different ones every tour, so its a toss up. Overall was good though because I went home with three bottles from a small batch winery I loved. Would book again, even if just for the awesome driver.

Highly recommend tour with the ever so knowledgeable and friendly guide Dave P. We had the pleasure of riding in Blue and it was a great time. We will be back one day and definitely going to check out the other tours. We had 4 other folks with us and we never had a dull moment.

From the moment we met Poppy, our trusty VW bus, and Dave, our storytelling guide and driver, the fun began. We were lucky enough to have only one other wine drinker with us, and she proved up to the task of making this the best birthday ever for my just-turned-21 daughter. Dave graciously accepted the challenge of three generations of women who wanted to make the most of one day in wine country. We had an extended visit at Kunde with the brilliant Cat, who even gave us a tour of the wine cave. Then on to delightful lunch at VJB Cellars and a quick visit to Sunce. Our last stop at KivelStadt in Glen Ellen was pure deliciousness from the terrific wines to the enigmatic Dana, who may or may not love reality television. If we could go back again today, we absolutely would!
