The Tramway is subject to delays and periodic shutdowns due to unforeseen circumstances and is not responsible for ticket refunds or the inability to redeem a voucher
Tramway cars hold 80 people each and there are no seats. Passengers remain standing throughout the journey up the mountain
Distance is approximately 12,800 feet, with a vertical ascent of 5,873 feet - 15 minutes travel time one way
The tramway is known as a double reversible type of aerial tramway. Each car remains on one pair of track cables moving up and down without turning around. Each car serves as a counter balance to the other, the descending car is helping pull the ascending car up the mountain
Strollers are permitted on this tour
During holiday periods, you may experience long lines. We recommend you travel outside of these peak times to fully enjoy everything the tramway and mountain have to offer.
There is parking in 13 paved lots near Valley Station. There is free shuttle service from parking lots to Valley Station entrance available weekends and holiday periods

We have been regularly coming to this place during the winter season except the past 3 years due to the onset of covid 19. But this is the first time that i booked online. Which was really convenient. It’s an exhilarating experience because you can see the view of San Bernardino County and the hike is a good exercise

Great views and fun to go before sunset to see the view at day and night. Food is ok drinks are great.

This trip is a MUST do! I loved the waiting area outside with natural waterfall and steps up to view. Loved the magnificent shale lined shelves on the mountainside up and down on tram ride. Wear warm clothes. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Do a dry run first as I overheard many there saying they wish they'd done. Unique gifts at shops for yourself or more. Say "hello" to Diana in entrance level Gift Shop. We have a Peaks restaurant reservation for 1st of the New Year.
