This was fun but had a couple spots that were fairly strenuous due to the grade change. Non-cyclists should ride a power-assist bike. Nice start riding thru the ritzy neighborhoods in Palm Springs. Climbing soon after entering Indian Canyons Park. Hike is very nice and easy. Very pretty as well. Option to continue after the hike with a shorter albeit steeper climb to the largest palm grove in the world. We did this, but we are experienced and fit cyclists. Our guide, Cody, was wonderful - very informative and pleasant. He took great care of us, from providing water and snacks to guiding us along the way. Ice cream at Kreem’s was a fantastic way to end our ride!

My husband and son did the bike and hike with tour guide Cody and they both thoroughly loved it. When they returned and my son walked in the door he exclaimed, "'this is the best vacation ever!"

I had a wonderful experience with "Captain Ron" and a lovely couple from NYC on a bike ride to Indian Canyon which included a mile long hike in the hills. Ron knows a great amount about the native peoples, plants and geology and ecology of the area. The e assist bike I used was really great. It was a great experience and I will repeat it again if I return to beautiful Palm Springs.
