Bill was extremely knowledgeable about Pat Conroy and the many filming locations of movies made from his books as well as other movies filmed in the area. He had lots of great stories about actors & actresses during their time in Beaufort as well as many about Conroy himself. He took us to a stunning part of town we never would have found on our own. A great, fun tour for any lover of Pat Conroy or Hollywood. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Don’t pass this one up!

Bill was our tour guide. He has rolled with the punches of COVID to make his tour happen; we were in an open-air golf cart. Being the only ones on the tour, we were able to have great conversations with him about Pat Conroy, who is one of our favorite authors. Bill shared personal stories as well as lore with us. He pointed out sites of movie scene locations (even if it wasn't a Pat Conroy story). He also took the time to share 2 videos via his laptop, one at the start of the tour & one at the end. We got out twice to walk around graveyards which was very special. Bill made the tour!

Bill was an amazing guide. Just absolutely incredible knowledge of all things local. Respectful and courteous to all during this time. We can’t wait to get back and take a deeper dive into the area and history.

There is so much history here in Beaufort! I highly recommend Dr. Larry Rowland's book "The History of Beaufort County, South Carolina: 1514-1861" for your deep diving! You will be amazed at the depth and richness of our history!
