Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud
The high energy show features lumberjacks from all over the nation competing in events such as the underhand chop, standing block chop, springboard chop, speed climbing, log rolling, boom run, ax throw, hot saw event, cross cut and more. Heckling, booing and cheering are encouraged; but be warned, too much smack talk and you may end up on the stage competing against the professionals! These lumberjacks are not actors – they are actual world renowned lumberjacks with quite a resumé.

We did both the adventure and the show. I'll stay with the adventure... We have a 5yo and 8yo. What a fantastic day we had! It took about 2 hours or so to do all they have to offer, and man... it's a workout! Our youngest wasn't big enough to ride the zip coaster (minimum 50 pounds), but she was still big enough to do the bungee jump. They let her ride it twice to make up for missing the zip coaster. The gentleman and young lady who were our escorts were so nice, talked us through each event, and made sure we were safe and felt confident in all the activities. Their interactions with us didn't feel forced and very friendly folks. Our youngest was too small to get across one of the rope activities at the top and the guide came to "rescue" her. Let's just say she now has hero eyes for him. I was very impressed with the whole adventure and my girls cannot quit asking to go back. The show was fantastic and so much fun. I loved they opened with respect for my brothers in sisters in arms, past and present, along with The Star Spangled Banner sang. A true American way to open the whole show. A lot of participation for the audience, too. They have out lumberjack "cookies" to the kids and even had the kids out during intermission... interacting with them and very friendly. Our girls were awestruck by the "Lumberjack Jills", which they were all too accommodating to the millions of questions. I know it's their job, but you can tell when people are genuine about accommodating kids. The staff from the front was superb, too. We purchased our tickets through a military discount website and they helped us through using them. The key thing I will say is, if you don't purchase through the Lumberjack Feud website... call ahead to have them reserve your slots! They'll take care of you quickly and efficiently, but you have to call. Thank you Donna for the wonderful help.
