We scheduled a small group tour of the USS Missouri and Pearl Harbor. We received a last minute message that we were being put together with a large group tour that had no tour guide during the activities. The reason we were given was problems with a vehicle which is nonsense. When we got to the large tour trolley there was not enough seating so we got to navigate rush hour traffic for quite some time standing up. The tour guide was an awesome guy but don't change my your the night before when I have no time to seek an alternative and then state you will not discount my tour to the price of the large group tour. My suggestion is go somewhere else for your tour in order to receive what you paid for.

The tour itself, I am lost for words other than very moving and humbling!!! I was alittle disappointed in the bus schedule back to our trolley. We waited over 20 minutes (the buses were supposed to cycle ever 10-15 min.) We missed our trolley. The tour was amazing. Well worth it!!

YES - you should visit this amazing site!! Our tour guide was great with picking us up and organizing our tickets and even took the time to drive by historical landmarks on the way back to our hotel. Just note that this is NOT a guided tour of the actual site. This tour package is essentially paying for a bus driver and tickets. Our guide dropped us off and told us a meeting time of when to return to the bus. My only complaint is probably that we could have spent more time - you think 5 hours is a lot of time and it's really not because the place is MASSIVE. We had to skip over some museum stuff to make it to the bus ontime so if you like to read anything, this isn't enough time. For most people, this is plenty of time to do the Arizona and Missouri but we also stopped at the USS Bowfin and we were really packed for time My husband and I felt at the end that it would have made more sense for us to just take ourselves to the memorial. Many hotels have suggestions for transportation to the memorial and then you can spend as much time as you want. We wish we would have done that.
