Our tour begin with Jordan, our guide for the day, picking us up at our hotel in a clean new Sprinter van. With only three couples it felt like a private tour. Jordan set the stage for the day and answered all our questions. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and very patient. The USS Arizona memorial is humbling and very well displayed. Military vets and Park Rangers are on site to answer questions. The USS Missouri is closed for cleaning on Mondays so we had time to tour the USS Bowfin submarine. It was fascinating and we were able to see it all, now to stern. In short we were extremely pleased with Jordan, Viator, and the memorials.

I choose this tour because with COVID it is difficult to access Pearl Harbor and to obtain access tickets through the Pearl Harbor Park. Viator provided the access with their tour ticket. However, Our guide was restricted in what she could show us in the Pearl Harbor complex; she was only able to act as the facilitator in getting us there. Although we knew the history, it 9would have been helpful to have an overview of what we would be seeing and what was available in the complex. I eventually found park brochure, that showed a map of the complex. The USS Missouri tour was a self guided tour and if it weren’t for my husband, I wouldn’t have known that it was important at the end of the war. It was not at Pearl Harbor the day of the attack. After we left Pearl Harbor, we did a nice city tour and stopped at a local food truck for “on your” lunch. This part of the tour was interesting.

It was so helpful to have a guide to help us navigate our way around Pearl Harbor. Picked up right at our hotel and a bit of sightseeing after. Our guide was wonderful. We started at the movie then went right to the Missouri and pretty much had it to ourselves. Great experience
