Punchbowl Crater is an extinct volcanic tuff cone located in Honolulu, It serves as a memorial to honor those men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces, and those who have given their lives in doing so.

Next to the skyscrapers of the island main business district you will find important landmarks like the Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha statue, the Kawaiahao Church and the Aloha Tower. This area is also the seat of Hawaii’s government, home to the Hawaii State Capitol, Washington Place and Honolulu Hale.

Visiting the memorial and paying our respect to the victims of this tragedy. It was heartbreaking to see the names of all the young men who died in this tragic event.

It was a bit confusing as to what aspects of PH were included on this tour- but we saw the museum, documentary, grounds, USS Arizona, the Punchbowl cemetery and some of the city on this tour. Golden Child (not Douglas LOL) was a fantastic tour leader- giving clear instructions when we arrived at PH and imparting interesting facts about Hawaii while on the city tour. We found it interesting and a great day tour. Thanks Golden Child!!
