Punchbowl Crater is an extinct volcanic tuff cone located in Honolulu, It serves as a memorial to honor those men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces, and those who have given their lives in doing so.

Honolulu is home to some of Oahu’s most historic places. Next to the skyscrapers of the island main business district you will find important landmarks like the Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha statue, the Kawaiahao Church and the Aloha Tower. This area is also the seat of Hawaii’s government, home to the Hawaii State Capitol, Washington Place and Honolulu Hale.

Chris, our tour guide was great. He was very knowledgeable not only about Pearl Harbor but about all the special areas on the way there. He told us where we should go and how to get a seat on the boat to see the USS Arizona in a timely fashion

We had a wonderful tour guide, Kenny. He is very informative of the event also gave us some history of the island. We throughly enjoyed him as our tour guide. We definitely would recommend everyone to ask for him.

Very moving experience. It was wonderful to see how after all of these years the memories and preservation of the sight are treated with the utmost respect. Our guide, Chris gave us a few extra tips on exploring the area. Note, this is really an “on your own” tour as guides are not allowed. Still worth it, just need to level set expectations!
