I booked this tour because we were unable to get reservations for the shuttle to USS Arizona which we very much wanted to experience. If you are n this pickle, this tour will get you onto the shuttle although you do have to get in the standby line to get on the shuttle. The wait was minimal and we still got to see the museum, film, and walk around the park. Our tour guide was pleasant but did not talk a lot like most guides choose to do. He also took us to the Punchbowl Military Cemetary and to a gorgeous outlook with a marvelous view of the whole city and Diamond Head. I believe you could take a public bus to Pearl Harbor and get in the standby line and save $190. But this tour was comfortable with only six people in a nice van!

I made a reservation online with Viator for the USS Arizona Memorial at 1:00pm, I wanted plenty of time to see and read all the museum displays and the memorial (there is much to see, indoors and outdoors). I also had a reservation to tour the USS Bowfin and the submarine museum (on the same site). My 1pm reservation gave my wife and I four full hours before closing to soak it all in and pay reverence to our fellow Americans who perished. But the internet information was deceptive; Our reservation to the USS Arizona was passed onto another tour company, Karma Tours, who forced us to be picked up 10 miles away in Waikiki area before they would give us our tickets. They were late picking us up and wasted one hour driving around 3 other hotels picking up others. Karma Tours booked our ferry boat reservation to the Arizona Memorial at 2:30pm. They also forced us to leave one hour early (4pm) for the ride back to our car 10 miles away. We did not have time to see the outdoor displays or museums or the Bowfin museum, we felt deceived and cheated. The Arizona Memorial & Museums are amazing and should be a reverent experience, not a rush-rush.
