Only one day to spend in Honolulu and it just happened to be Halloween! But, we were in for some real treats when we took this tour of Pearl Harbor and highlights of Honolulu. Koki was our tour guide, and she was a wonderful host, very gracious, entertaining and knowledgeable. The memorial at Pearl Harbor was very informative and heart-rending. After visiting the memorial, Koki took us to various impressive sights in Honolulu, including the Iolani Palace, the statue of King Kamehameha and stunning vistas of Diamond Head and downtown Honolulu. Before returning us to our hotel, she even stopped at Leonard’s Bakery for a piping hot malassas (Hawaiian doughnut). The day was a real treat for us all!!
