National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific

Punchbowl Crater is an extinct volcanic tuff cone located in Honolulu, It serves as a memorial to honor those men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces, and those who have given their lives in doing so.

Downtown Honolulu

Honolulu is home to some of Oahu’s most historic places. Next to the skyscrapers of the island main business district you will find important landmarks like the Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha statue, the Kawaiahao Church and the Aloha Tower. This area is also the seat of Hawaii’s government, home to the Hawaii State Capitol, Washington Place and Honolulu Hale.

We took a tour yesterday to the sacred and beautiful USS ARIZONA memorial at Pearl Harbor. This was our first trip to that sacred site. Our tour guide was extremely informative on the way to the memorial, and our return trip included a tour of Downtown Honolulu, with emphasis on the National Cemetery. Another beautiful site in Honolulu. He treated both places with dignity, sharing historical information for the entire four hour trip. We would recommend this company and specifically this gentleman to anyone traveling here. We had a super time with an informative tour guide.

Tour was great! There is a version with a city tour of Honolulu as well. It’s pretty easy ride and fun to just see a few monuments.
