Punchbowl Crater is an extinct volcanic tuff cone located in Honolulu, It serves as a memorial to honor those men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces, and those who have given their lives in doing so.

Next to the skyscrapers of the island main business district you will find important landmarks like the Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha statue, the Kawaiahao Church and the Aloha Tower. This area is also the seat of Hawaii’s government, home to the Hawaii State Capitol, Washington Place and Honolulu Hale.

Let’s begin by saying how I would like to rate this tour -10! Every description on the website was misleading. Looking at their company website there’s nothing but 5 and 4 star reviews. It wasn’t until I looked on Yelp, I saw nothing but 1 star reviews with experiences just like mine. We booked the 11am tour and we didn’t get picked up until 1:40pm, which they told us the night prior. They also fail to mention that the “tour” is a talking tour of us sitting on the bus waiting for other passengers to be picked up. Therefore, depending on when you get picked up determines how much of the “tour” you will hear. In our case, we were the last stop so we got a $500 Uber ride to the entrance. Our plans for the day had to be cancelled due to how late and unresponsive the company was. The guide told us the line would be tremendously long to get tickets to the memorial, yet there was absolutely no line. Save yourself $100 a person and get FREE tickets the day before or 2 months in advance at recreation.gov After multiple tries of contacting the owner, Neil, we never got a response, nor got our money back. Save yourself the hassle and book through a different company.

Excellent service from start to finish. Our guide was David and he had great knowledge and passion about Pearl Harbor and Hawaii as a whole. We were provided with clear instructions and advice about where to go within the memorial and the city tour that followed was short but sweet. The punchbowl is a beautiful cemetery and also has great views of Honolulu. I would certainly recommend this tour if you have a spare half day in Oahu.

David was great we really enjoyed seeing the USS Arizona memorial and seeing all the attractions and history.
