This is a wonderful and educational experience for all! The tour pickup time had one time listed on the ticket and another on the reminder email. We were ready at the earlier time so we weren't late. The bus was nice, clean and the driver was very kind. The directions to get from the bus to the entrance of each of the attractions was a little hard to navigate (it was a working naval base so understandable) and our driver tried to explain this to the best of his ability. The lunch was wonderful and the tours were so educational. The fighter jet simulator was fun too. The memorial of the USS Arizona is a must see and so is the battleship Missouri.

Overall an excellent tour to some great places. Timing was excellent as we got picked up right on time, and felt like there was plenty of time at all spots on the tour. Driver was very knowledgeable and an excellent host for the day. Two negatives for the day were 1. tickets for the Arizona were not included with the tour and I feel this was not clear from the write ups about the tour. We were able to go stand-by and made it out on the very first boat after getting in line. Had I not made it out to the Arizona, my rating for this tour might have been much lower. 2. The air conditioner went out in the main passenger area on the bus. We were up front and the air from the drivers area was enough to keep us somewhat cool on a bus that was nearly empty. Had this been a packed tour, this could have been a real problem.

What an experience for my wife and I. Our entire visit to Hawaii was based in Maui. We scheduled this day trip to Oahu through Polynesian Adventure tours and we had a great day. HOWEVER...and this is a big issue, the initial coordination with the Polynesian Adventure tour folks could have been a recipe for complete disaster. Luckily, it wasn't for us. Two days before the tour, we confirmed all the arrangements with the Polynesian Adventure folks including the meeting place and time at the airport in Oahu (as we were flying in from Maui). We were told to look for the Polynesian Adventure van at between 8:15 AM and 8:30 AM at a specific location. On the morning of the tour, we arrived at the airport on Oahu on time and were sitting having breakfast at 7:45 AM when we received a call from Michael (our tour driver). He was looking for us as we were late to meet up with him! Luckily, we were just a 5 minute walk to get to him. He explained that the we were due to be at Pearl Harbor at 8:30 AM and the time to meet advice given to us from the front office was very wrong. Luckily for us, it all worked out and we got to the van in time. As we understood from Michael, of the 4 couples scheduled to take that tour that morning, 1 couple had the wrong meet up time and could not make the van in time. Once we got on the van, we were taken care of in grand fashion. Michael did a great job all day long and the tour was a complete success! Michael even had time to drive us around Honolulu to see some of the sights. We stopped for some pictures and he was fabulous with his tour commentary too! We had a great time. Advice! Confirm your arrival time and meet up with the van time! List your cell phone in your reservation details and BRING YOUR CELL PHONE with you!!!
