The tour was great - I mean, it's LA, right? Lots to see and learn about the town. But imagine if your tour guide was, like, Sarah Silverman? Kelly gave 110% - she knows her stuff, and worked hard to keep everyone engaged. Make sure to ask for her, because once Quintin casts his next movie, she'll be gone for good! (The best Kelly moment: she gets out of the bus and yells at a guy for parking in the tour bus lane. You can't make s%!$ like this up.) In our party were an LA noobie (me) and a 20-year LA resident taking the day off, and we both enjoyed it!

We are staying in Santa Monica for a few days and wanted to take in the tourist sites around Beverly Hills and Hollywood before we head North. We booked onto the 5 1/2 hour tour the evening before and were not disappointed. Pre tour we were picked up outside a local hotel before the tour set out from the Santa Monica pier area and headed off around a few affluent neighbourhoods on our way to our first stop of Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills. After a short stop we were headed towards West Hollywood for lunch in the Farmers Market area, all the way we detoured up and down quite streets with celebrity homes and commentary described by our guide Josh. After lunch we made a short stop to see the Chinese Theatre and the Star spangled sidewalk on Hollywood boulevard before heading up to glimpse the world famous Hollywood sign. The tour bus is open sided so I’d recommend to take a jacket! Josh’s encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Hollywood really made our trip and I’d certainly recommend this tour if you have a day to kill in LA.
