What To Expect

Liberty Bell Center

Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the "City of Brotherly Love"—Philadelphia.

Congress Hall

Arriving in the historical center of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, as well as Constitution Square and Congress Hall.

Elfreth's Alley

Stroll Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.

Rocky Statue

Continue on a panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the Financial District, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia, and more. Departing the city, you'll see the famous “Rocky Steps,” before continuing east to Lancaster County, the traditional home of the Amish people.

Amish Country

Start your time in Amish country with a ride on an authentic Amish horse-drawn buggy that you through Amish farm country. Learn how this traditional community lives without the benefit of modern technology: no electricity, running water, telephone services, or appliances. After the ride, visit the marketplace where you can shop for handmade arts crafts and products. In the late afternoon depart east for your evening arrival back in NYC.

Pleasant day and convenient way to reach Philly as well as have a taste of Amish life. Keep in mind, it is just a taste. Unfortunately the only interaction with Amish is with the driver of horse and buggy ride. It would have been nice to interact with more people to understand their way of life. Another suggestion: please equip the guide with a microphone. It would help hearing better and keep covid 19 distance, masks on etc.

I enjoyed seeing independence hall, the Liberty Bell, Rocky Balboa stairs, and I enjoyed the ride through Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

A delightful journey! We visited the Independence Hall, the Statue of Rocky and the stairs (from the same movie), Amish Country. Our guide Brian was great! My native language is not English, and Brian speaks English perfectly for foreign tourists (he speaks clearly, not quickly) - I understood absolutely everything that he was telling.
