What To Expect

Liberty Bell Center

Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the "City of Brotherly Love"—Philadelphia.

Congress Hall

Arriving in the historical center of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, as well as Constitution Square and Congress Hall.

Elfreth's Alley

Stroll Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.

Rocky Statue

Continue on a panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the Financial District, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia, and more. Departing the city, you'll see the famous “Rocky Steps,” before continuing east to Lancaster County, the traditional home of the Amish people.

Amish Country

Start your time in Amish country with a ride on an authentic Amish horse-drawn buggy that you through Amish farm country. Learn how this traditional community lives without the benefit of modern technology: no electricity, running water, telephone services, or appliances. After the ride, visit the marketplace where you can shop for handmade arts crafts and products. In the late afternoon depart east for your evening arrival back in NYC.

I loved the Amish country the most but little time was spent exploring the countryside. The trip mostly was about shopping and visiting the museums.

Philadelphia part of the tour was very good - our guide Stephano was very nice, helpful and knowledgable. The Amish country part was a bit lacking. The buggy ride person didn't know we were coming so we waited half an hour for a buggy. During that time we did nothing, even though there was a decent shop and even a model house in the same parking lot. After this delay, we were given less than an hour for lunch and shopping - really not enough time - and still returned to New York over an hour before the time stated in your ad. In short - a problem in time management and problem solving. Sorry, but this tour didn't meet our expectations

Thank you for your review and feedback, we always appreciate hearing the customer perspective. After some research, while the buggy was late, the estimated time of preparation we received was too small to allow for other activities (15 mins). The tour arrived back in NYC around 7:05pm which is in line with the tour schedule. Tour schedules cannot be amended due to driver hours and DOT regulations.
