What To Expect

Liberty Bell Center

Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the "City of Brotherly Love"—Philadelphia.

Congress Hall

Arriving in the historical center of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, as well as Constitution Square and Congress Hall.

Elfreth's Alley

Stroll Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.

Rocky Statue

Continue on a panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the Financial District, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia, and more. Departing the city, you'll see the famous “Rocky Steps,” before continuing east to Lancaster County, the traditional home of the Amish people.

Amish Country

Start your time in Amish country with a ride on an authentic Amish horse-drawn buggy that you through Amish farm country. Learn how this traditional community lives without the benefit of modern technology: no electricity, running water, telephone services, or appliances. After the ride, visit the marketplace where you can shop for handmade arts crafts and products. In the late afternoon depart east for your evening arrival back in NYC.

Excellent tour with knowledgeable tour guide and safe driver. Pace of tour was good and small number of visitors added to the experience.

The administration of the trip was well organized. The bus was comfortable and even had a toilet on board. Our guide Z was knowledgable, professional and courteous. There were sufficient stops and a variety of choices for food. The attractions in Philadephia such as the Liberty Bell and the Independence Hall were interesting. It was great to see the late President Nelson Mandela's photo in Independence Hall. The trip to Amish county was a disappointment. You visit the Amish market and go on a buggy ride. We did not get a true understanding of Amish life and nor did we interact with the Amish community. Overall it was a good experience.

I booked this trip during the Xmas holiday with my parents. We all loved the day we spent there. The guide was great: knowledgeable, entertaining, gave a lot of tips for our stay in NYC. The trip was very interesting, a lot of information when visiting Philly and interesting to know more about the Amish culture.
