What To Expect

Liberty Bell Center

Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the "City of Brotherly Love"—Philadelphia.

Congress Hall

Arriving in the historical center of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, as well as Constitution Square and Congress Hall.

Elfreth's Alley

Stroll Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.

Rocky Statue

Continue on a panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the Financial District, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia, and more. Departing the city, you'll see the famous “Rocky Steps,” before continuing east to Lancaster County, the traditional home of the Amish people.

Amish Country

Start your time in Amish country with a ride on an authentic Amish horse-drawn buggy that you through Amish farm country. Learn how this traditional community lives without the benefit of modern technology: no electricity, running water, telephone services, or appliances. After the ride, visit the marketplace where you can shop for handmade arts crafts and products. In the late afternoon depart east for your evening arrival back in NYC.

Tour guide was very good and had the ability to pass on his knowlwdge and keep us entertained as well. The tour of Philly was excellent including cityhall, constitution centre and rocky steps. The Amish part of the tour was a little underwellming. The buggy ride was ok but the Amish driver was not very communicative and we spent way to much time at the very commercial Amish village. Be aware that the tours are generally multilingual in our case English, Italian plus a seperate guide for 2 chinese ladies. I just found this a little off putting. Overall a good tour but not great.

We enjoyed this day excursion very much. It was helped by having an excelled guide Brian. He was knowledgeable and well organised and handled the different languages needed on this excursion excellently, grouping the different groups on the bus and speaking with them personally. The trip was interesting. loved the Amish experience, a busy day, well worth it! Thank you Brian.
