Overview
Our tour will take you through Philadelphia’s Old City – home to some of America’s oldest and most haunted buildings, roads, and monuments in the nation. “Old City” refers to the area of Philadelphia that was first established as a colony, an area that saw much strife, war, and hardships as the newly formed America fought for its independence. Old City Philadelphia has been continuously inhabited since 1702, making it the oldest residential area in the country – with some residents never really leaving.

It was a good walking tour but not really a "spooky" ghost tour. We liked the history tie ins but if you are looking for a graveyard and such, this tour doesn't have it. It was during Philly's Covid shut downs and were glad to have the experience and it was a fun nighttime activity. Independence Hall at night is a great photo op spot!

Fantastic tour. My guide began with the basic history behind stop, then explained the paranormal nature. The pacing, stories and stops were all well-considered to engage the participants. I especially enjoyed how the tour was designed to distribute the walking fairly evenly and the happy glint in the tourguides eye when the story transitions from established history to the paranormal!

It was a very cold and windy night, we were the only two in the group and glad Steve didn't cancel! The wind took any "spookyness" out of it but the history tie ins were interesting and something to do in the evening during covid!
