We went on the Big Bus "Hop on Hop off" tour of Philadelphia on Thursday. I recommend this tour as you get a good feel of the city and see some interesting sites like, Betsy Ross' house, Paddy's Pub, The Philadelphia museum of art, and the Rodin museum to name a few. We sat upstairs and the guide pointed out some interesting facts about the city as well as reminding us to be aware of the low hanging branches. The only negative I can see is, if you get off and go to one of the stops to get back on later, you may have to wait another 20 minutes for the next bus if people are not getting off and the bus is full.

Our tour guide Nina was absolutely amazing. It was wonderful to learn that there is so much great African American history in Philly. Of course we wanted to see the Rocky statue and steps. And the liberty bell. One of the security guards at the liberty gave us an awesome history lesson about the bell. The entire experience was AMAZING every one we came in contact with that worked for the tours was so helpful and extremely courteous.
