Our tour guide was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and he even sang whenever he got the chance. It was our first time to visit Philadelphia, and I'm so glad we booked this before we left. We jumped off whenever we wanted to look at something and "hopped" back on the next bus if we wanted. We even encouraged a couple of guys we met at the hotel to try it and they booked it as we spoke.

As first time visitors we loved getting the overview of the city and all the “first” examples. We took the whole tour and then got off to see Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. When we visit new cities, the hop on hop off tour is always our first choice!

My husband and I took this tour with our 4 kids, ages 6-16, and my 71 year old father and we all really liked it. We got on and off a few times so ended up with 3 different drivers and tour guides. The bus drivers were skillful and safe and every tour guide was really interesting. We learned so much and made a list of things we wanted to do the next day. For example, We wouldn’t have known about the concert every day at noon on the world’s largest functioning organ in Macys! We recently saw the worlds largest outdoor organ in San Diego so this was an awesome addition. My only complaint is that one time we waited over an hour for a bus to come by and so we’re didn’t have time to do one of our top things we wanted to do. Overall it was really great, though.
