Our guide, Tom, picked us up right outside the door of our B & B. It was wonderful to not have to do the drive in traffic ourselves. He was personable and very knowledgeable of the history. He was on a first name basis with the NPS personal. My husband and I both have some medical issues and he cheerfully accommodated our needs. We 'd definitely do this tour again.

Fantastic private tour of Valley Forge with all sorts of interesting trivia about the area and the people who were there. Owen is a great guide!

The Valley Forge Park is a wonderful place to visit. This is the place where President (then General) George Washington made plans which changed the future of the country. His quarters is probably the most visited place in the park. There is also an Arch in the Park as a tribute to his commanders, a church, and quarters for other commanders and soldiers. These are very well kept. Valley Forge Park is also kept as a park. It has jogging, walking, and biking paths with beatiful views of the trees and the city. There is a railway station also. The Park is about an hour from Philadelphia and only minutes away from one of the largest malls in the US. Valley Forge Park is a must-see place to visit for those who are interested history and natural beauty.
