When nearby we took the opportunity to spend a day at Valley Forge State Park. It is extremely well organized and takes you back to the days of George Washington. Upon entering the visitors center George Washington is astride his white horse that you swear will whinny and gallop off to battle. It is a real horse that has been very nicely done. There is a lot of history to relive in all of the buildings. We were most impressed with George Washington’s house where you use rather same stair railing that George used as you climb the stairs. Lots of great history here. Well worth the visit.
