HUGE THANK YOU to our pilot, Patrick, and our ground crewman, Pete, for sharing your skill and love for ballooning with us and helping us celebrate our 29th Wedding Anniversary IN STYLE!! I usually have issues with heights and was initially a tiny bit nervous because of that...but IT WAS TOTALLY FINE! No issues at all! It was beautiful and peaceful! And, as if the balloon ride itself wasn’t enough, there was champagne at the end! #CarefreeHighway

This was my first time in a hot air balloon as well as my friend. I cannot speak highly enough about our whole experience! Pilot Patrick’s 28 years of experience filled our ride with an education on ballooning as well as a location observing wildlife of rabbits, a deer and several burros. We completed our exhilarating sunrise adventure with champagne and a certificate. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Balloon assents are so quiet, so gentle. Only the blast of the gas filling the balloon breaks the quiet. Floating over the desert was a great start to our day. We had been in a hot air balloon ride in the Tetons. This ride in Phoenix had fewer people in the basket so we could move a little bit, which was very nice. Our pilot pointed out various sites and shared insight into operating a balloon. The breakfast was not as good as the one we had at our hotel so we skipped that part.The sunrise was spectacular, though we viewed it from the ground as the balloon was being prepared.
