The market has hundreds of choices to eat. Carolyn did a great job narrowing it down to her favorites and a good variety we all enjoyed (clam chowder being the favorite!) Also found history of the market interesting.

Great selection of seafood choices, good storytelling, and tour guide/owner Carolyn has a very outgoing, friendly and fun attitude. Having a knowledgeable guide especially in the almost overwhelming atmosphere of Pike Place makes the experience amazing, especially when traveling solo, and makes a return trip to the market less overwhelming (and more fun!) Carolyn was also a wealth of local information and was generous sharing it.

Good sampling of the market and got to see things that most people never learn. There is a garden, an original cliff area special to the indigenous people and a bar that’s has original glass tiles in the roof which shows the sidewalk above. Food sampling was good but by no means a replacement for lunch. But we got to see some places we could go back and visit. Would recommend this tour as Carolyn was a chef and lest us know what is good there. And we got to sample the best award winning chowder and didn’t have to wait in the long line. I highly recommend this tour.
