This is the Pike Place Market tour you must take! Chef Carolyn is a former farm-to-table chef with a great perspective and a lifetime's worth of information. My husband and I took the seafood tour on our recent trip to Seattle. Chef Carolyn got to know us a little bit, and then tailored the tour to our interests and tastes. In addition to the delicious food samples, Chef Carolyn provided entertaining stories on a myriad of topics. We even learned a little of the haunted nature of the market. Of course the highlight for me was watching the men and woman of Pike Place Fish Market famously tossing a fish around. Also, as a bonus, she took us to the famous Gum Alley! I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Chef Carolyn!

This tour fantastically intertwined the story of Seattle with it's rich seafood history, from it's roots in indigenous settlements, to modern day creative culinary exploits. Carolynn was an extremely knowledgeable, authentic and friendly guide for the tour. Highly recommended!

Amazing way to try the best foods in the market in a short period of time. From chowder to jerky to poke we spent 2 hours tasting and learning about local food, history, and the market. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seattle and the market. We happen to be the only ones on the tour that day and she went out of her way to make a few stops specifically for our young girls.
