What To Expect
1
Garden of the Gods
The beauty of these ancient geological formations has amazed people for centuries. On your tour, there will be ample time for you to explore and many photo opportunities as you examine formations with names like Balanced Rock, Cathedral Spires and Steamboat Rock.
2
Pikes Peak Center
The next stop on the itinerary is the majestic view from the top of Pikes Peak. This peak was also known as Sun Mountain by the Ute people and El Capitan by Spanish explorers, but it was later named after the explorer Zebulon Pike. It is also known as America’s Mountain because the magnificent vista at the top inspired the lyrics of ā€œAmerica, the Beautiful.ā€ The mountain stands at 14,115 feet and is the tallest mountain in the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. As you stand at the summit, you will have a beautiful view of Colorado Springs and the rest of the Rocky Mountain range. With the right conditions, you will see for miles, enjoying all the natural beauty.
3
Manitou Springs
After descending from the mountain, our tour continues in Manitou Springs, a small resort town to the west of Colorado Springs. The town was founded in the late 1800s to be a health spa centered on the eight natural mineral springs in the area. Once you have enjoyed the sights of Manitou Springs, it will be time to head back to Denver. As the sun sets over the western Rockies, your tour of the natural wonders of Colorado will come to a close. When you travel with us, you can trust that it will be a day to remember.

Loved the tour and the guide, Michelle was EXCELLENT!!! First off she was super patient with me having after my search for parking delayed the start. She called and showed her concern l, but set guidelines to ensure the others wouldn't be unduly inconvenienced. I felt she was extremely professional while showing the warmth and attention to put me at ease. I totally would have u derstood if she had said "Too late - I'm leaving without you.". Many thanks to her for going beyond just the expected. The sites, of course, were beautiful, but were made even more interesting by Michelle's knowledge of the area and running commentary. She shared not only the history, but also the cultural quirks and fun anecdotes about many of the areas we passed. The passengers synched together well, and she looked out for everyone's needs. Five stars, two thumbs up and a big hug to her for ensuring we all had a wonderful and safe time, and came back with big smiles on our faces!

Marc was an excellent driver and tour guide - periods of torrential rain and hail did not stop us from Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods! Beautiful places we were very happy to visit

This trip was amazing! Our tour guide was Brian. He was super nice and provided us with a comfy ride in a clean, new vehicle. He had lots of water available and served us a great turkey sandwich for lunch in a nice little picnic spot we stopped at. We were able to bring a bag with extra clothes and we could leave the bag on the vehicle during stops. There were plenty of bathroom breaks. Having a tour guide allows everyone to enjoy the views without having to worry about logistics. Highly recommend and worth the cost of the tour!!!
