What To Expect
1
Garden of the Gods
The beauty of these ancient geological formations has amazed people for centuries. On your tour, there will be ample time for you to explore and many photo opportunities as you examine formations with names like Balanced Rock, Cathedral Spires and Steamboat Rock.
2
Pikes Peak Center
The next stop on the itinerary is the majestic view from the top of Pikes Peak. This peak was also known as Sun Mountain by the Ute people and El Capitan by Spanish explorers, but it was later named after the explorer Zebulon Pike. It is also known as America’s Mountain because the magnificent vista at the top inspired the lyrics of ā€œAmerica, the Beautiful.ā€ The mountain stands at 14,115 feet and is the tallest mountain in the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. As you stand at the summit, you will have a beautiful view of Colorado Springs and the rest of the Rocky Mountain range. With the right conditions, you will see for miles, enjoying all the natural beauty.
3
Manitou Springs
After descending from the mountain, our tour continues in Manitou Springs, a small resort town to the west of Colorado Springs. The town was founded in the late 1800s to be a health spa centered on the eight natural mineral springs in the area. Once you have enjoyed the sights of Manitou Springs, it will be time to head back to Denver. As the sun sets over the western Rockies, your tour of the natural wonders of Colorado will come to a close. When you travel with us, you can trust that it will be a day to remember.

Brian was a fantastic commentator during our tour, very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed how we had enough time at each site to really explore and I never felt rushed. Brian knew his way around the curvy roads of pikes Peak and made the whole experience really enjoyable.

Great way to see these exceptional landmarks - David was a fantastic guide. So good to leave the driving to him so we all could fully enjoy the scenery. We even saw mountain goats and marmots! Awesome day and I highly recommend!

Definitely worth the trip. The tour guide arrived on time, the bus was air conditioned and he had plenty of water for us. I would suggest to layer up as the top of the mountain is cold. I didn't bring a jacket but the tour guide had 2 to lend to us. We had lunch half way through the trip which was provided by them and I was impressed with the turkey sandwich and they gave chips. He made a few stops along the way for us to be able to take pictures and use the rest rooms. Lots of sightseeing and overall great trip.
