The Tour
-Scenic drive up Pikes Peak Highway. We make several stops for pictures. Our guides share history and folklore of the mountain and also get to know our guests. Once at the summit, we walk with you showing you the interesting sites. We leave you to explore the summit before returning the Jeep.

Not recommended for people with heart conditions or serious medical issues.

What To Expect

Pikes Peak - America's Mountain

This is an amazing experience, with views that defy language. Pikes Peak Highway is 19 miles of paved road to the summit. There are many attractions we stop at and take pictures, and let the views soak in. Once we get above the treeline, it's like a different world. Incredible rock structures and views of distant mountain ranges. Once we reach the summit, we will give you a little tour of the area, tell you some of the things you seeing, and allow some time in the Summit House. On a clear day, you can see 5 states from here. After that, we will leave you to explore on your own for a bit. Food and souvenirs are available at the Summit Complex. We also provide snacks and water for the trip if needed. This is an experience you won't forget.

Had great time! I was impressed with communication through emails before the trip to begin with. The Jeep was very clean. James took us to places with views that on our own we couldn't have found. The trip to Pikes Peak was wonderful. James is prepared to take care of you with whatever you need (water, snacks, oxygen....) We highly recommend!!!

We had a fantastic trip with James and Mountain Jeep LLC. We toured Cripple Creek, Victor, and Manitou Springs. James took us all around town. We saw the Cripple Creek Heritage Center (I recommend buying some donkey treats here, just in case), the Outlaws and Lawmen Jail Museum, and several old and new gold mining sites. Best of all, we saw the donkeys of Cripple Creek. It was a great time. James was a knowledgeable and considerate host. He supplied bottled water and snacks. I highly recommend Mountain Jeep LLC.

Thanks for the kind words, Jennifer. While it started as a Pikes Peak tour, it ended up as a Cripple Creek tour. I'm so glad we found your donkeys, even as we'd given up. I told my wife about your wanting to see the donkeys, and she said "Jennifer is my people". haha

We had a great trip with James! Views were fantastic; James was eager to show us everything; and his Jeep was immaculate with a very comfortable back seat (according to my wife)!
