The Tour
-Scenic drive up Pikes Peak Highway. We make several stops for pictures. Our guides share history and folklore of the mountain and also get to know our guests. Once at the summit, we walk with you showing you the interesting sites. We leave you to explore the summit before returning the Jeep.

Not recommended for people with heart conditions or serious medical issues.

What To Expect

Pikes Peak - America's Mountain

This is an amazing experience, with views that defy language. Pikes Peak Highway is 19 miles of paved road to the summit. There are many attractions we stop at and take pictures, and let the views soak in. Once we get above the treeline, it's like a different world. Incredible rock structures and views of distant mountain ranges. Once we reach the summit, we will give you a little tour of the area, tell you some of the things you seeing, and allow some time in the Summit House. On a clear day, you can see 5 states from here. After that, we will leave you to explore on your own for a bit. Food and souvenirs are available at the Summit Complex. We also provide snacks and water for the trip if needed. This is an experience you won't forget.

We were completely satisfied with our Jeep tour and can only recommend it! Our guide has many years of experience and was able to tell us a lot along the way. It was a good feeling to be with someone who knows the area. You also don't have to worry about the engine of your rental car on the way up or the brakes on the way down. The Jeeps are obviously in top condition and the guides are really great! Be sure to book the tour in the morning! The view is supposed to be better then, which wasn't the case for us but it was still extremely impressive, and the crowds aren't up there so early! The many cars didn't arrive until we were already on our way back! That's a huge advantage! The air can get a bit thinner at higher altitudes but we didn't have any problems with headaches or nausea, although you might be a bit out of breath. But you also walk around slowly and don't have more than half an hour to stop. The souvenir shop is very big but also very expensive. The price for the Jeep tour is reasonable. It was one of the best experiences on our Colorado trip! We were very happy!
