Madeira Beach

Madeira Beach or Mad Beach as the locals would say, is a beautiful beach town on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. You won't want to miss the shopping, restaurants, attractions and most of all, feeling the sand between your toes.

Just got off the Pirate Cruise with five adults and an eight year old and had a great time. Pirates Gavin and Brooke and Captain Ryan ensured the kids on board were occupied for the duration of the tour and were also knowledgeable about the surrounding area and attentive to the needs (and drink requests) of the adults.. If you have kids and want to take a breather on a pleasant cruise while they're occupied with creative activities (and a water gun fight), book up. Thanks to the captain and crew for a great tour!

The boat looks cool from the outside but it’s really nothing special once you get in. I’ve been on the speedboat and the Calypso Breeze and this was definitely the worst of the 3 and its extremely overpriced. The owners should be ashamed.

Thank you for the feedback. We would love to know specifically what you didn't enjoy about the cruise. Was it the 90 minutes tour around beautiful Boca Ciega Bay? Was it the water gun battle, treasure hunt, pirate story or music? Was is the FREE beer, wine, sodas and water? Or was it the pirates who work very hard to ensure everyone has a great time?? This trip is really suited for children given the types of activities and not the best choice for adults only. It is a little cheesy for the price- paper pirate hats, plastic beaded necklaces for "treasure", squirt guns, and lame storytelling. Be prepared as the kids are let lose on the boat to squirt any and all on the ship which resulted in being soaking wet, not by choice. They take a picture in front of a prop and sell them for $10 afterwards.There is wine and beer for the adults and music playing. For adults, there are other better boat tours.

Thank you for the feedback. We do have an upper deck for those who wish to avoid the activities. Guests are encouraged to participate and to take as many photos as possible during the cruise; however, we do reserve that one spot prior to boarding for our own photo opportunity. Sounds like you would enjoy one of our adult friendly, live music cruises. These cruises are available on Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the spring and summer. Check out our schedule online.
