We went on the morning tour with our Pirate and we had a blast! It was very informative and just the right amount of information. Loved hearing about the pirate days in NOLA and our guide was very well informed. You could tell he had done his research! We have been on a number of walking tours (around the world) and this is by far out favorite. Highly recommend!

Our friends signed up for this tour and recommended we join. I'm so glad we did! Our "Captain" was very friendly and extremely knowledgable. And his tail about the Lafitte brothers and their place in New Orleans history was really engaging and interesting. In all honesty, the tour portion of the experience often had very little to do with the story he was telling. But the tail and the personality of our guide more than made up for it. And he included enough general facts about the french quarter to keep it interesting. Plus there's nothing better than a Pirate to clear a path for you on a crowded street. I highly recommend you do this if you're looking for a different kind of tour!

We enjoyed the tour. The way our guide told stories was entertaining, interesting and informative. We could almost see pirates walking around Pirates Alley! He explained the importance of the Lafitte brothers to the city, the economy and the enjoyment of life. His story about the battle of New Orleans would be exciting for all ages. I think our grandsons would enjoy it too. Easy walking and lots of stops for stories. I wish I’d have worn a pirate outfit. Passerbys shouted “aaargh!” Good fun.
