Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

Johnny took out for my first ever time surfing while I was in Pismo Beach. He is super knowledgeable and an incredibly nice guy. He is a great and really clear instructor. My wife even got to sit on the beach and watch with Bucky!

My daughters took a three day All Girls Summer Camp with Sandbar and It was the most amazing experience! The Instructors are so encouraging, lighthearted and fun. My daughters had never surfed before and after three days they were catching and riding the waves on their own! I could not give a more wholehearted and positive review. Thanks for a great start to the summer Johnny!
